Our people really are our greatest asset. We employ nearly two hundred personnel on the Southern Water sewerage React & Maintain contract and three hundred personnel on our Thames Water sewerage contract. These staff are operating at the frontline of our business, representing us to our clients and their customers.

We rely on them to ‘live’ our values; Safe, Customer Focused, Communicative, Passionate, Reliable, Honest, Responsive.

We are committed to training our people and we encourage them to develop themselves. This investment in training and development enables our employees to achieve their full potential and ensures that they have current, relevant skills for their roles to maximise their effectiveness and continually improve.

We provide 1,500 days training for our people per annum. This ranges from general induction and customer care training to more specialist training such as high pressure water jetting and confined space working. We also support those that wish to develop their skills and competences more formally through further education courses and membership of professional institutions.

Engaging with our employees is vital to maintain a positive working environment. We gather employee feedback through employee surveys to gauge satisfaction and help us to identify areas where we can improve.

We are an equal opportunities employer and rigorously ensure that all our people are treated fairly and consistently.

We are always looking for new people to join the business. If you are interested in working for Cappagh Browne Utilities please contact us at recruitment@cbul.uk
